GRAVITY RACING JOINS THE VOLKSWAGEN POLO CUP IN 2026
Gravity Racing will make its debut in the Volkswagen Polo Cup in 2026, marking its official entry into one-make motorsport. The team, led by Ariel Jelonek, will field its own car and be part of a starting grid of over 20 vehicles, marking the return of the classic one-make series.

The cup comprises 12 races across 5 to 6 race weekends at some of the most renowned circuits. The provisional calendar includes the Hockenheimring, Nürburgring GP, Lausitzring, Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, and Zolder. Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) and Mugello (Italy) could be added as options.
The project is a collaboration between Volkswagen Motorsport South Africa, Volkswagen Group South Africa, and MARACO Management, who share the goal of reviving the golden age of one-make series.
For Gravity Racing, entering the Polo Cup marks the first major step in the team’s history – with a focus on sustainable growth, sporting development, and genuine motorsport passion.

Polo Cup 2026
Gravity Racing will start in the Polo Cup in 2026 with its own vehicle – the event will be held as part of the DMV Racing Days.
